Wildlife crimes rise by 100% in a year in Kerala
Wildlife-relatedcrimeshave increased dramatically in the state and there has been a100%rise in the number of cases registered in 2020 compared to the previous year.
According to data obtained under the Right To Information (RTI) Act, the state registered 303 cases in 2020 as against 151 in 2019 and 61 in 2018. As many as 156 cases were recorded in the state in 2021 till August 26 this year.
Most cases pertained to poaching of endangered animals and reptiles, hunting for meat and illegal trading and possession of horns, tusks, nails, and teeth. Removing tusks or nails and collecting meat from animals that died naturally is also an offence. More than 80% of the total cases registered each year are in connection with poaching of wild animals other than wild boars that cause extensive damage to standing crops.
Besides wild boars, sambar deer, spotted deer, porcupines, monitor lizards, pythons, civets and turtles are among those that fall prey to poaching. Occasionally, elephants, leopard, tigers and wild gaurs are also hunted down, say the data.

As an account aggregator, the Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) has certified the ” e-Governance Infrastructure.”

After A Year Of Protests, Three Farm Laws Were Repealed
In his address on November 19, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the federal government will abolish all three <a href="https://exam.pscnotes.com/Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture laws.

Farmers who are protesting were also asked to return to their houses.
Farmers around the country began protesting the agricultural rules a year ago, and the decision to abolish them was made one year later.
These laws will be repealed during Parliament’s Winter Session.
Farmers’ main fear was that these regulations would eliminate the Minium Support Price (MSP), which is guaranteed by the government on certain crops.
Farmers will soon be at the mercy of large corporations.

Narayan Rane, Union Minister for MSME Launched Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (SCLCSS)
On the second day of the MSME North East Conclave, Union Minister for MSME Narayan Rane announced the Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (SCLCSS) for the <a href="https://exam.pscnotes.com/Services-sector”>services sector.

Senior authorities from the Ministry of MSME in Guwahati were also in attendance.
The scheme would assist companies in the services sector in meeting their technology-related requirements by providing a 25% capital subsidy for the purchase of plant and machinery, as well as service equipment, through institutional credit to SC-ST MSEs without any sector-specific limits on technology upgradation.
The Minister also congratulated North-eastern SC/ST entrepreneurs and encouraged young people to pursue in order to become EMPLOYMENT creators rather than job seekers. Shri Rane promised the youngsters that the Ministry of MSME will leave no stone unturned in their quest to become successful entrepreneurs.
